1 ½ cups water
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 ½ teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground allspice
3 tablespoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Bring water, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, white sugar, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice to a simmer in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until thickened to syrup consistency, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat and cool syrup, about 5 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract, cool to room temperature.
