1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 (1 pound) package bacon, chopped
2 cups fresh corn
2 cups heavy whipping cream
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Combine water and 2 teaspoons salt in a large pot, cover and bring to a boil. Add spaghetti, cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender yet firm to the bite, about 7 minutes. Drain.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat, cook and stir bacon until browned, 3 to 5 minutes. Add corn and cook for 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, season with salt and pepper.

  3. Mix drained pasta into cream mixture, cook and stir for 2 minutes. Transfer pasta mixture to bowls and top with pea shoots.
