½ pound pork sausage
1 medium onion, minced
2 large eggs
½ cup quick-cooking oats, or as needed
1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can milk
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Place beef, sausage, onion, eggs, and oats in a large bowl. Mix until well combined. Shape into meatballs and place in a 9x13-inch baking pan.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until well browned, about 40 minutes. Carefully pour off the grease.

  4. Pour beef broth and mushroom soup into a bowl. Fill the empty soup can with milk and pour into the bowl. Add onion soup mix, stir until combined. Pour sauce over the meatballs.

  5. Continue baking until hot and bubbling, about 50 minutes.
