1 (12 ounce) package breakfast sausage links
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup thawed frozen hash brown potatoes
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
4 large eggs
¼ cup milk
¼ teaspoon dried basil
1 dash cayenne pepper
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

  2. Place sausage in a 12-inch frying pan and cook and stir over medium-high heat until sausage is no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and slice into 1/2-inch coins.

  3. Unroll crescent roll dough and place into a 9x13 baking dish or 12-inch deep-dish pan. Press seams together and press over the bottom and partially up the sides to form a crust. Top with sausage, hash browns, and Cheddar cheese.

  4. Combine eggs, milk, basil, and cayenne, pour over cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes.
