6 large baking potatoes, peeled and cut into thick slices

1 teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until just barely tender, 10 to 12 minutes. Drain.

  2. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

  3. Combine turkey drippings, paprika, salt, and pepper in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Add potatoes and toss to coat.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven, turning occasionally, about 40 minutes. Increase temperature to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and continue baking until golden, turning occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes.
